About the Headliners
David Bowden is an educator and founder of Word Guerrilla. Utilising beatboxing, live looping, and multi-instrumentalism, he delivers Word Guerrilla’s brand of spoken word poetry performances to a variety of different educational settings, workplaces and events across the country, making performance poetry accessible and exciting for all. David was the winner of the Wolverhampton Literature Festival Poetry Slam in 2021.
Kuli Kohli is Poet Laureate for the City of Wolverhampton 2022 - 2024. She was born in India with cerebral palsy, but now lives in Wolverhampton. Her pamphlet, Patchwork and full poetry collection A Wonder Woman are published by Offa’s Press. She’s performed her work at locally, nationally, internationally and writes for Disability Arts Online.
