Jason Guy started the Wolf Whistle podcast to celebrate the stories and lives of past and present Wolves Players who have graced the Molineux. Last year, he collected these stories and published ‘Tales from the Tape’ a chronological history of Wolverhampton Wanderers, but from the players’ perspective. The book delves into the lives of the former players who have graced the Molineux turf, proudly donning the Old Gold. Many, you will remember and a few, you will have forgotten but they all have their own unique stories of their careers and their service to our beloved club. In this exclusive event, Jason is joined by Mel Eves and Jon Purdie to discuss their incredible careers.

Mel Eves, born locally in Darlaston, was a League Cup winner with Wolves in 1980 and made over 200 appearances for the club and as well as being an England B International. Jon Purdie started his career at Arsenal and played over 100 games for Wolves when they were in the lower leagues and then enjoyed a successful non-league career.
