This talk will delve into the dark side of contemporary Black Country literature. R. M. Francis (Poet, PhD researcher and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton), will look at what makes the region so ripe for writers to think about and depict the abject, uncanny and murky underbelly of life.
Following the the talk invited writers will share their work with the audience. Expect nasty, filthy stories from some the regions finest writers.
