Seven Wonders is a brand new play, written by and starring Laura Liptrot and tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII as you’ve never heard them before.
Paralleling the lives of these six remarkable women with the problems and humour of the modern world and explaining her fascination with each of them, university of Worcester drama gradate Laura Liptrot also gives a frank and hilarious account of her own life and acting experiences so far.
As well as taking a light-hearted look at modern culture, this hour-long one woman show debates the true characters of six historical icons and questions how they might have survived, reacted and been received in the 21st century. This play is intended to enhance the funnier side of history and bring to life the relics of the past, and promises to be emotive, enlightening and endlessly enjoyable!
