For many years Trevor taught in primary schools in Wolverhampton. He himself was a pupil in the city, first at Elston Hall Infant & later at Wolverhampton Grammar School.
In this collection of poems, THE RHYMING DIARY OF JASON SMITH, Trevor paints the experiences of school life from the stamdpoint of an eleven-year-old boy. Schoolchildren will recognise many of the situations depicted - both funny and sad - while parents will recall their own schooldays and teachers discover not only tales to share with their pupils, but also a fund of ideas to use in their teaching of literacy.
