For the first time local playwright Ian Henery and students of The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in Wolverhampton come together to create a fun and engaging play especially aimed at a younger audience. In the style of strolling Medieval players meet Jurassic Jeffrey and his pals in a feel good play packed with jokes and fun, join the gang as they recognise the things that make them different and discover that friendship is what binds them together… Performed by students of The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in Wolverhampton and written by local playwright Ian Henery it is a fun introduction to theatre for a younger audience.

The Pauline Quirke Academy has been running in Wolverhampton for nearly 7 years and students have twice performed in London’s West End in specially written musicals, have seen their film work shown on the big screen and have produced a number of Pantomimes, individual students have appeared on TV in Peaky Blinders, Doctors, The Boy With The Topknot and adverts while 23 students were in the movie The Girl With The Gifts with Glenn Close and Gemma Arterton. This project is an exciting opportunity to perform before an audience with a brand new play, developing the characters and style of the piece and introducing a young audience to theatre in a fresh and exciting way.
