Derrick Wallace

Derrick Wallace will be discussing his brilliant book Manz Dem. There will be an opportunity to purchase signed copies of the book at the event.

Manz Dem is a musical project carried out by 15 of the most important African/Caribbean/Caribbean Dual Heritage guitarists. They have made some of the most important contributions to the British Music Industry. This book collects their lives and pictures their amazing careers through their own eyes and words.

Derrick Wallace was born in Edgbaston Birmingham. He studied Jazz Guitar at Goldsmiths University London and completed his BMus (Hons) at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

He graduated with a MA (Music) from the University of Wolverhampton. Previously, he has worked as a professional guitarist and clinician.
