Zakariye is a poet and writer hailing from Birmingham who has been performing poetry for five years. In November 2022, he had his short poetry film ‘CAGES’ broadcast on BBC 4 and released on BBC iPlayer. He has worked with Flatpack to screen his short film as well as lead a workshop on the relationship between film and poetry. He has also performed his poetry on Brum Radio, performed a set at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, headlined at The Glee Club for Verve and was a finalist at the Roundhouse 2023 Poetry Slam, winning the audience vote. This year has also seen Zakariye be accepted for The Roundhouse Poetry Collective 2023-24. 

Tamika Steadman is a Poet, Actress, Host and Mentor. CEO of her brand I.Put.The.T.In.Poetry her work includes themes such as Race. Feminism. Culture and Mental Health. Tamika has performed around the UK on stages such as The Commonwealth Games 2022. Her work has been featured on multiple BBC platforms, and throughout the Black Lives Matter movement. Tamika also creates events and leads workshops in various care and school settings that aim to inspire poetry and creative writing. Tamika has recently released her debut EP titled “I’ll be alright” which is available on all digital platforms including Spotify & Apple Music
